Sweet Baby Fox was a long time coming! I first thought about opening a beautiful baby boutique in Warners Bay back in 1996 when my son Max was 4 & my daughter Kathryn was 1. But life got in the way & my dream was put on the back burner while I got busy raising kids & being a mumma.
With a deep love for the outdoor, retail & cafe lifestyle of Warners Bay, in 2015, my husband Grant & I opened ‘Fox & Willow Emporium’ our ladies clothing, shoes & homewares boutique on the waterfront. With Fox & Willow being so popular, in 2019 we realised it was the right time for my long-dreamed-of, baby store! So, we took on a little shop in the Table One Espresso Arcade and ‘Sweet Baby Fox’ was born!
Then with the stars aligning again, an opportunity was presented and in October, 2022 & we were able to spread across two more shops and create a huge premises. This gave Baby Fox the space it needed for all our beautiful stock, and to create activities and services for our mummas & babies to enjoy – with heaps of play room for the young ones!
In our beautiful community space, new mums access FREE baby health/Blue Book check-ups, with well-known Newcastle registered nurse, clinic sister, Ruth Scott. Feedback has been that Ruth is amazing and mums are also enjoying interacting & chatting in the air-conditioned waiting space that has our child play area, filtered water and plenty of seating and space for prams.
At our boutique: We pride ourselves on having the stock you need the day you pop in. We stock a fantastic range of babies & toddlers clothing with sizes, where possible, from 00000-4. And we also stock a beautiful PREMI baby clothing range with sizes starting at a tiny 800grams and up!
